Today I learned that one of my personal heroes, Maurice Sendak, has died. We will have to continue the wild rumpus without him.
I also learned that North Carolina passed a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, civil unions and domestic partnerships. They already had a law in place banning gay marriage but figured they needed to double down with an amendment as well.
There is no need for all the repetition NC, I am already well aware of how threatening I must seem.
