Today I learned about the surinam toad who gives birth to live baby frogs from holes in her back. Seriously - holes in her back. The little fertilized frog eggs stay in pockets in the skin of the mother toads back until the frogs hatch and leave her body.
It is amazing all of the beautiful variety in nature.
