Our friend Ginger Chicken is now 5 months old. The other chickens are no longer mean to her and let her eat all she wants. She is probably about full size now. The most exciting part is that I am now certain that she is a she. After a string of roosters that had to say goodbye, this is very pleasing to discover.

Today I learned there really is nothing to be afraid of.
