Today I learned that a Canadian production company has announced plans to film a remake of Anne of Green Gables set in modern times. I am not sure whether to be extremely excited or very concerned.
Either way I may have to buy a bottle of cherry cordial and plan a TV date with my kindred spirit/mother to relive the glory days.
I am suddenly filled with the urge to track down the original on blue-ray.
